OK, so the workout:
As many rounds in 20 minutes:
- 60-lb barbell Thrusters (think front-squat into a shoulder press) - 10 reps
- 10 pull-ups (I have to use assisted after a few rounds...ok, one round)
I did 6 full rounds in approx. 17 minutes. I must admit I could not complete the extra round with proper form (don't want to injure myself). The Thrusters made my quads so sore that I could not walk down the stairs. They are completely shot. I love it!
People definitely look at me when I'm going hard with these unconventional exercises and I think it's cool! Total body work out complete!
